In 2021, ex-colleagues and friends, Jessica Jackson and Tatum Steers, decided it was time to tackle a major pain point they had experienced whilst working at various Aged and Disability Service Providers operating throughout Australia – staffing. More specifically – a provider’s ability to save time and find staff quickly without having to spend excessive amounts of money on advertising and resourcing.
Jumping straight into product planning and development, Hirey was soon ready for testing and undertook this process carefully over a seven-month period. Fast forward to February 2023, Hirey formally launched across both Sydney and Melbourne and was immediately recognised as a game changer in the industry.
With an ever-growing database of workers, and plans to expand throughout each state in Australia, Hirey is helping to create visibility in the market between workers and service providers who believe in innovation and are keen to try something new. Hirey allows providers to think outside the square when it comes to the recruitment of staff, and for workers uncovers a whole new field of play in terms of finding new employment.
